Hours- Monday- Friday 7am-4pm

$20 hourly BOE

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance tasks on a variety of vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, fluid checks, and more.
• Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Use diagnostic equipment and techniques to identify mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Repairs & Replacements: Replace or repair faulty components, such as tires, batteries, belts, hoses, brake pads, air filters, and other key parts.
• Scheduled Inspections: Conduct routine vehicle inspections to identify and address potential issues before they lead to major failures.
• System Monitoring: Maintain the vehicle’s critical systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, and suspension systems.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate service records for all vehicles, including repairs, maintenance, and inspections, to ensure full documentation and compliance with industry standards.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers, explaining needed repairs, offering recommendations, and ensuring the customer’s concerns are addressed.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and regulations related to working in the automotive service environment, including proper use of equipment, handling hazardous materials, and ensuring the safe operation of tools.
• Workplace Maintenance: Ensure a clean and organized work environment, maintaining tools, equipment, and shop space in optimal working condition.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Automotive training or certification (ASE certification) preferred, but not required.
• Experience: Previous experience in automotive maintenance or repair is a plus. 1-15 years experience
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, parts, and maintenance procedures.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and other service tools.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to work efficiently, manage time, and follow instructions accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and work in tight spaces.
• Background: Clean background check (NO felonies) is required.
• Good Driving record
