If so, we have an opportunity for you! Our client, an extremely fast-growing boutique accounting firm is seeking a Remote Accounting Manager to join their firm who is ready to be a part of a team. Our client works exclusively with service-based small business owners looking for a one-stop solution to handle strategic tax planning and tax preparation, bookkeeping, and business advisory services.

Job Description

• Overall management and oversight of client accounting assignments and projects.
• Assist in creation and implementation of best practices to standardize accounting processes and procedures.
• Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent training, consulting, and expertise.
• Supervise the preparation of sales tax filings
• Review and present quarterly deliverables to clients; including customized analysis, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting reports.
• Monitoring and analyzing accounting data to produce financial reports or statements
• Assist in managing, training, and mentoring staff to promote efficiency, stellar work product and advance continual growth in their skills and knowledge base
• Delegate and manage firm workflow to assure accurate, complete, and timely preparation of client accounting work

Qualifications

• BS degree required, Accounting or Finance major preferred
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, a combination of public and private experience preferred
• Strong Expertise in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships
• Strong leadership and personnel management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy

Requirements

Benefits

Working Hours:

You are required to make yourself available during core hours of 10:00am – 4:00pm PST. Outside of these hours, team members have the freedom to manage their time. Fridays are REQUIRED but your time is flexible.

Up to 50 hours during season - no crazy busy seasonal hours

Prefer candidates in PST and MT time zones. Will consider CST time zone.
