Rivier University hires part-time Mathematics - Adjunct Faculty members on a semester-to-semester basis. We are currently seeking instructors who can teach face-to-face on our Nashua, New Hampshire campus Mathematics and Statistics courses.

Duties and Responsibilities

Candidates qualified to teach undergraduate courses will have a master's degree in mathematics or a related field. Previous teaching experience is preferred.

Typical Qualifications

• An earned graduate degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Candidate must possess a keen interest and enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring students as well as the ability to work effectively with students of all levels and abilities.
• Be able to work with a diverse student population.
• Must have prior college teaching experience in the field of Mathematics is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues both in the department and throughout the University community.
• Support the Mission of the University.

Supplemental Information

• Ability to engage in critical thinking and exercise independent judgment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage confidential information.
• Self-starter, ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form, and
• Computer skills and proficiency with a variety of computer applications including word-processing, and reporting platforms, as well as calendaring and email.
