We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Body Shop Manager to join our team. As the Body Shop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our body repair facility, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and efficient operation. Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations of the body shop, including scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation. Hire, train, and supervise a team of estimators, body technicians, painters, and support staff. Ensure industry training including I-CAR, ASE, and OEM goals are achieved. Set performance goals and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure optimal performance. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. Maintain strong relationships with customers and address any concerns or issues promptly and effectively. Maintain strong relationships with insurance adjusters and address any concerns or issues promptly and effectively. Monitor service quality and implement measures to continually improve the department's performance. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of vehicle service and repair processes. Monitor industry trends and stay up to date with technological advancements in automotive service and repair. Manage department budgets, including labor, parts, and inventory control. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. Requirements: Previous experience as a Body Shop Manager in an automotive dealership or independent repair facility. Body Shop Estimators will be considered with multiple years of experience and references. Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Strong customer service orientation and the ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships. In-depth knowledge of automotive body and paint repair and refinish processes. Proficient in using estimating and accounting management systems and software. Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
