We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the Box Truck Delivery Driver position, joining our **Concordville, PA** team. **BENEFITS**: This position is **full-time** benefit eligible, elective benefits include: Medical, dental, hearing and vision insurance. * **HOURLY RATE:** $16.00/hr

* **SCHEDULE:** S plit-week schedule ( off Wednesday and Sunday )

This position is responsible for supporting our Large Format Sales Representative program by delivering the necessary product and materials to the appropriate accounts and sales people.

**Product Delivery:**

* Load the straight truck with requested product per account requests and/or other route specific needs.

* Professionally and safely operate company truck with product and sales materials (display materials, product labels, etc.) to various store locations.

* Remove and organize reusable cardboard from accounts and return to branch warehouse.

* Credit customer accounts for any stale or damaged product in the stores and return to the warehouse for proper disposal

* Maintain a clean and organized truck. Sweep and wipe to clean truck interior; wash windows and mirrors; and dispose of trash boxes daily.

* Conduct daily pre-trip vehicle safety inspection. This includes and is not limited to headlights, brake lights, turn signals, and fluids, including proper engine oil levels.

* Deliver and occasionally merchandise specific orders for routes at various locations, as directed.

**Qualifications:**

* Must be at least 18 years of age

* Must possess a high school diploma or general education degree; and/or one to three months related experience and/or training

* Able to read, write, understand and speak English

* Display common sense, understanding, working knowledge of product codes and warehouse procedures

* Must possess a valid drivers license in the current state of residence and a clean driving record

* Must pass and receive a DOT (Department of Transportation) Physical

* All Herr Foods Inc. job offers are contingent upon successfully passing a drug test.

**Physical Demands & Work Environment:**

* Constantly reaching and using fine manipulation

* Frequently walking, bending, squatting, balancing and lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds

* Occasionally lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and or move or pull up to 100 pounds

* Minimally sitting, kneeling, crawling, and climbing

* Exposed to outside weather elements
