North Valley Hospital District is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to join our leadership team. The CNO plays a pivotal role in our healthcare system, overseeing and coordinating the nursing department and its daily operations. As the senior nursing executive, the CNO ensures the delivery of evidence-based practice and high-quality patient care that is both efficient and cost-effective. This leader sets the strategic direction for the nursing staff and works closely with other healthcare leaders to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance for all nursing services, ensuring the highest standards of care and evidence-based practice.
  • Set the vision and strategic direction for patient care services and collaborate with other departments to implement strategies that achieve organizational goals.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and enforcement of policies and procedures related to nursing and patient care services.
  • Work closely with healthcare leaders to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in district programs promoting community health, well-being, and employee safety.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance patient care quality and ensure cost-effective service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A Master’s degree in Nursing or a related health field is preferred.
  • License: Current registered nurse (RN) license in Washington State.
  • Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of nursing leadership experience, preferably in a similar healthcare setting.
