Job Description

We are seeking a talented " Data Engineer " in Toronto, Canada to join our team and play a crucial role in developing and optimizing our data processes for campaign management. This is a Full-Time (Permanent) position 100% remote position that requires a collaborative approach and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities :

• Provide strategic insights to enhance the Genuine Optimized Campaign process.
• Design and maintain foundational campaign tables in Hive and Snowflake using SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Collaborate with teams to capture and assess new data points from VWO via API to evaluate campaign performance.
• Support campaign assignments by managing daily updates for new non-compliant users.
• Develop databases that align with the Champion/Challenger methodology to strengthen campaign analysis.
• Enhance the data infrastructure for seamless automated campaign launches.
• Build environments necessary for deploying reinforcement learning (RL) algorithms to oversee campaign management.

Required skills:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a quantitative field.
• At least 5 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on decision-making and problem-solving rooted in analytics.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with 3+ years of experience; skilled in data visualization tools such as PowerBI .
• Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions with strong quantitative and conceptual thinking abilities.
• Excellent business acumen, leadership, and a balanced approach to driving results.
• Experience with AWS and advanced skills in Spark / PySpark coding.
• Working knowledge of Airflow for effective workflow management.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to influence and drive alignment.
• Highly adaptable and self-driven, energized by a fast-paced work environment.
