DIGITAL CONTENT SPECIALIST (PENN STATE SPORTS ENTERPRISES)

THE RUNDOWN

Playfly Sports Properties is looking for a Digital Content Specialist to join our team in the Playfly office location in State College, PA.

The Digital Content Specialist will be responsible for the creation, editing, and trafficking of digital content for revenue generating brand campaigns that will be distributed across multiple digital platforms. The person in this role will work with the Partnership Service Team to traffic partner digital campaigns and social media campaigns, edit partner video and audio content as well as graphics in support of activations for sponsorships sold by local partnership sales teams. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is creative, detail oriented, and fluent in end-to-end video, audio, and graphics production.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Assist property sales team members with revenue generation through the editing of digital content for sponsored campaigns
  • Work with the Partnership Service Team to traffic and fulfill all partner digital campaigns (FanServ & GoPSUSports.com) and Social Media Engagement campaigns
  • Be the liaison between the Playfly Penn State Team and Sport & Story to ensure that partner content is included in the Blue & White Brew daily email
  • Oversee and manage all Playfly content on GOPSUSports.com, working closely with Penn State Athletics and WMT to ensure content is promoted, streamed, and archived properly
  • Create short-form content from Playfly-controlled radio and streaming shows with the purpose of promoting on digital channels
  • Proactively collaborate with local sales team members on ideation and the creation of short-form and long-form video and audio as well as graphics for sponsorship pitches and activations
  • Work closely with property sales team members in meeting sponsor needs through storyboarding and creating project briefs
  • Produce digital content that follows the brand standards and is in the social media voice/tone of multiple university partners and high school associations
  • Repurpose video and audio content for distribution across multiple digital platforms
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Provide ongoing updates to property sales teams on production timelines and delivery date of digital content
  • Work in tandem with the Playfly Creates team
  • Other job-duties as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum 1-year experience producing video/audio/graphics for distribution across multiple digital platforms
  • Excellent project management and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail and high-quality work ethic
  • Proficiency in utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and be a team-player
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
  • Experience driving engagement and results
  • Experience in sports marketing with an emphasis in college athletics

TRAVEL, LIFTING, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to work select nights and weekends around sporting events
