A high-net-worth principal is hiring for a Facilities/Construction Manager to oversee their day-to-day properties, including Eastern Long Island and NYC. The role reports directly to the Principal and Principal’s Chief of Staff and is responsible for providing management and oversight of the physical properties, grounds, and ongoing construction/facilities and maintenance projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with hands-on facilities/maintenance and construction experience who has overseen extensive renovations and construction build-outs.

Location: Flexible depending on the day, but must have the ability to be on-location in Eastern Long Island at least 3 days/week

Salary commensurate with experience: $150-300k range (flex for experience) + discretionary bonus and benefits package

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining the grounds of the estate and detect the need for maintenance repairs
• Regularly check residential property to identify issues with structure, plumbing, hvac, mechanical failure, etc.
• Perform repairs on company equipment or appliances and minor repairs of plumbing, electrical and safety systems.
• Conduct performance assessments of appliances and provide support and guidance on maintaining equipment.
• General daily oversight of construction and liaise with engineering teams for efficient builds
• Liaise with design, architectural and contractor teams to ensure proper execution of principal’s vision
• Process invoices
• Liaise and source all pertinent vendors to ensure high-end finishes and cutting-edge technology
• Relationship management with key vendors associated with the above-mentioned day-to-day facilities and scheduled maintenance services
• Create maintenance manuals and schedule for builds once completed

Requirements:

• Engineering/Trade Background preferred, with 5-10 years of relevant work experience, construction project management experience required
• Ability to read architectural and engineering documents
• Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment and strong capabilities with technology hardware
• Strong project management and client relationship skills
