Job Description

The File Scanner is responsible for digitizing physical documents and uploading them into a designated digital file system. This role is critical in ensuring efficient document management and accessibility within the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Scanning: Accurately scan a variety of documents, including paper documents, reports, contracts, and invoices, into digital format.
Quality Assurance: Verify the quality of scanned documents, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
File Naming and Organization: Assign appropriate file names and organize scanned documents into designated folders within the digital file system.
Uploading: Upload scanned documents to the specified file sharing platform or cloud storage system.
Data Entry: Input necessary information (e.g., document details, file paths) into relevant databases or spreadsheets.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of scanned documents, including dates, file names, and storage locations.
Attention to Detail: Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
Organizational Skills: Effectively manage workload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with document scanning and imaging software preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged sitting and standing.
Repetitive hand and wrist motions.
Ability to lift and carry boxes of documents.
