Position : Full-time Network Information Technology Systems Analyst

 

Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. Hours and schedules may vary depending on Company need and workload. Employees will be given as much advance notice as possible when such changes occur.

 

  Pay Range : $65,000/year to $75,000/year

Summary/Objective: The Network IT Systems Analysts assists in the operations and maintenance of all affiliated agencies within the Daxia Network. Including but not limited to server and network environments such as 3rd party cloud environments, Microsoft Office 365, Azure, and Microsoft 365 Administration Centers. This role will focus on SharePoint builds, GPO maintenance/governance, and support cloud infrastructure-based projects within any of the Daxia organizations.

Essential Functions (Job Duties):

  • Represent Citizen Advocates in the most positive manner with prospective, former, and current staff, clients, suppliers, and the community we serve. Ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of staff, clients, and other customers of our services.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure Administrator to plan and implement system design changes and updates.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure Administrator to develop, modify, monitor, and troubleshoot system applications and systems.
  • Support on premise and cloud server applications including batch processes, user account maintenance and Active Directory, User, Group and Computer Accounts.
  • Modify and troubleshoot system batch programs using script language.
  • Ensure stable performance, integrity, and security of the hybrid network.
  • Maintains document information security procedures and processes.
  • Effectively troubleshoot, schedule, and follow through with all requests and incidents that are reported through customer submission or monitoring.
  • Clearly and thoroughly document requests for assistance in our ticket management system, and track incidents through to resolution in a timely fashion.
  • Identify potential outages and other problems (via information gathering, ticket trends, etc.) and communicate the information.
  • Maintain and implement physical, operational, and information security policies.
  • Manage and monitor data center components.
  • Provide timely feedback regarding installation and repair requests to appropriate parties utilizing the I.T. ticketing system and communicating the information.
  • Participate in physical to virtual migrations to include the planning, analysis, coordination, and troubleshooting throughout the lifecycle of migration efforts.
  • Assist with installation, configuration and maintenance of server hardware.
  • Manage and Administer SharePoint and Exchange environments.
  • Create custom scripts for backups, system configuration, software installation, system reporting, logon and configuration, group and user management.
  • Work collaboratively with system vendors, consultants and development team to design and implement configuration changes, new infrastructure, and software solutions.
  • Assist in the evaluation, testing, and recommendation of hardware, software, and network configurations based on employee-defined strategy (engagement).
  • Design and implement strategies to migrate end-user devices and data.
  • Support design, development, and implementation of operational support standards and procedures relating to change management, performance management, and security.
  • Investigate, analyze, and recommend solutions to performance problems and alerts to optimize functionality, reliability, and/or usability.
  • Analyze system service irregularities and disruptions and identify improvement/recommendations.
  • A strong drive of learning and a willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Maintain up to date AD and records.
  • Assist with maintaining site licenses for all software and appliances.
  • Provide, create, maintain requested reports and analytics.

Required Education and Experience:

  1. Minimum of a 2-year degree in Technology or relevant technical certifications or 7-10+ years’ experience with Systems/Network maintenance.

The following trainings/certifications are available and will be assigned to the employee by the Associate Director. Expectations are to achieve a passing score/certification and be able to present satisfactory skills sets on the job.
