Job Description
Job Title: Heavy Assembler Responsibilities Collect all components required for each assembly task
•Install bearings, bushings, and other key parts into machine components
•Assemble large and complex equipment made of multiple sub-assemblies
•Follow assembly drawings to ensure precise builds
•Inspect assemblies to guarantee proper fit and function
•Communicate any issues or delays to management
•Mount mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems onto machines
•Rotate through various production tasks and conduct quality inspections
- Prepare finished products for shipment and maintain a clean, orderly workspaceinstructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications •Previous experience in mechanical assembly is required
•Experience working with hand and power tools
•Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and assembly drawings
•Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
•Ability to use drill presses and hydraulic/manual presses
•Organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
•Strong problem-solving skills with a critical thinking mindset
