Position Overview:

The IT Help Desk Administrator is responsible for supporting internal office and production employees along with our onsite and remote computer infrastructure. Pro-active maintenance and procedures, as well as excellent customer support will be key in allowing employees and systems to function without interruption.

Job details and expectation:

  • Assist office and manufacturing employees with any computer/technology issues that they encounter - Setting up new and supporting new computers
  • Collaborate with other help desk team members in supporting IT needs of office / manufacturing locations onsite and a mix of onsite and remote employees
  • Support internal users via our ticketing system, and meeting our support metrics
  • Computer hardware and software troubleshooting, including part replacement and system imaging
  • Systems and applications support will include Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems.

Qualifications:

  • Previous 1 year IT experience (computer hardware/software/support) on the job or in personal life
  • Basic knowledge of networking and network equipment
  • Comfortable supporting on-site and remote employees
  • Ability to troubleshoot and configure personal computer systems

Requirements:

  • In person on-site support of Austin Office and Manufacturing facilities
  • Participate in after hours on-call rotation with other IT team members
