We presently have an opportunity for a Marketing & Events Manager in Boca Raton, FL. The candidate will be responsible for leading, developing and executing brand marketing strategies and activations. Specifically working with tournament staff, external partners, marketing partners, and spearhead all advertising, event marketing, and promotional campaigns for the tournament. This position will report to the tournament director Responsibilities: * Develop and implement strategic marketing strategies and action plans to increase brand awareness, annual ticket and sponsorship sales goals, and strategic brand partnerships * Develop and manage a direct-to-fan communication strategy, email marketing, social, mobile marketing, website and engagement, and other communication channels. * Work with external vendors on the creation of breakthrough storytelling assets that informs, educates, and drives attendance/sales & overall positioning as a fan destination * Leverage relationship with community partners including non-profit initiatives that align with overall messaging and objectives * Collaborate with the sales team to create campaigns focused on both growing the new ticket buyers and tournament ambassadors * Plan and oversee advertising and promotional campaigns which may include TV, radio, print, social and digital marketing in an effort to ultimately drive sales and increase brand affinity * Maintains consistent oversight and awareness of campaign results and proactively take corrective action, as needed, to optimize results * Develop and implement paid media programs to drive marketing efforts * Monitor, analyze and communicate marketing efforts and results * Be a liaison with ticketing, Partnership Sales and Partnership Marketing teams to ensure the organization's partners are supporting sales through internal and external distribution channels * Collaboratively support community initiatives * Oversee and manage third party database development and implementation of the Ticket Database * Manage processes, prepare materials, communications and fulfillment for our multiple ticket offers * Interface with Ticket Database for all ticketing operations and reporting * Develop and manage all processes for admission gates and corporate hospitality entrances, management of Admissions and Corporate Hospitality volunteer committees * Manage overall credential process including print production, data, design, and supplies * Oversee ticket/credential/parking pass distribution to sponsors, Broken Sound staff & members, Tournament staff, and individual ticket purchasers * Coordinate advertising, ticket, and credential designs with James Hardie Marketing and the tournament's contracted Marketing Agency * Create and manage the annual digital communications timeline for ticket sales campaigns, spectator information and championship promotions * Oversee day-to-day production, content, design, and website management for the James Hardie Invitational website * Responsible for creating Official Spectator Guide that is distributed to Partners, Tournament staff, club staff, volunteers and spectators that attend the James Hardie Invitational * Assist in the organization of all Tournament related media activities such as: Media Day, Media Interviews leading up to and during Tournament for key staff/players and manage the design and implementation of Tournament Press Releases in conjunction with tournaments PR agency * Oversee the Tournament's videoboard content shown throughout the golf course * Attend other Pro Links Sports events throughout the year to gain experience and provide operational support (as schedule allows) * Other projects as assigned Qualifications: Skill Set Requirements: * Ticketing system experience is not required but strongly recommended. * Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to take on extra responsibilities as assigned. * Familiar with graphic design and web/content management systems. * Effective project management skills with track record of completing projects on time and on budget. * Capacity to address multiple tasks simultaneously and remain composed under pressure. * Organization, attention to detail, and time management. * Computer skills including all Microsoft products. * Exceptional verbal and written communication/presentation skills. * Must take initiative in project management and problem solving. * Highest degree of ethics and professional conduct. * Confident, proactive, creative, and collaborative style that assimilates well within a team. Education Bachelor's degree Sports Management, Communications, Marketing, or comparable majors are preferred General info/Requirements Eligible to work in the United States.
