Position Summary The Instructor in Marketing will teach a seven-course load (21 credits) in marketing at the undergraduate level. The faculty member will demonstrate expertise in marketing with the ability to deliver high-quality and innovative courses in both traditional classroom, hybrid, and online environments. We seek an instructor who will teach required marketing courses and marketing electives (current and emerging topics).. Other business courses may be taught as needed. Additionally, the faculty member will play a vital role in advising students, demonstrating a commitment to their academic and professional development. Active involvement in both outreach and extension activities to foster connections with professional organizations and the business community is expected, as well as service and leadership contributions to the department, college, and university.

Administrative Summary Contingency Description This faculty appointment is contingent on funding and/or work to support the position. Employee acknowledges and agrees that in the event of insufficient funding and/or work, as determined by University in its sole discretion, University may: (1) change this Agreement by adjusting the employee's FTE and annual salary throughout the contract year; or (2) terminate this Agreement and employee's employment prior to the end of the term of appointment, upon 60 days written notice. Employee further acknowledges and agrees that in the event termination for insufficient funding and/or work becomes necessary, the notice provisions of Faculty Staff Handbook 3900B will not apply.

Qualifications
Minimum Education/Degree Required Listed degree qualification is required at time of application.
Required Qualifications - Masters of Business Administration or graduate degree in an affiliated field with marketing emphasis or master's degree in a related field.
- Experience teaching marketing courses at the undergraduate level.
Preferred Qualifications - Masters of Business Administration with a marketing emphasis, PhD, Executive PhD, or DBA in marketing or a closely related field.
- Experience developing a variety of teaching methods (face-to-face, online, and hybrid).
- Experience teaching in a variety of business disciplines, such as:
- consumer behavior or marketing management
- sales management or digital marketing
- other current or emerging marketing electives
- other general business courses
- Experiential learning and team-teaching experience
- Ability to transfer classroom knowledge and skills to the workforce.
- Experience working with industry professionals and companies integrating their business challenges into class scenarios or projects.
- Experience teaching at an AACSB-accredited college.
- Excellent undergraduate teaching evaluations.
