Marketing Manager

Dukanee Beauty Supply, established in 1962, is a dynamic and leading retail company dedicated to the distribution of professional beauty supplies. Our commitment spans various market segments, including professional, non-professional, and B2B, providing manufacturers with effective channels to reach customers. As we expand our online presence, we are seeking a talented Marketing Manager to join our team.

Position Overview:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and managing comprehensive marketing strategies, overseeing various online platforms, corporate events, and global marketplaces. The role involves ensuring the achievement of annual revenue and operating expense targets.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the publishing of content, maintaining thematic continuity, designing for increased online presence, and using publishing and designing software for website maintenance.
  • Interact with users, responding to messages, queries, and comments on social networks.
  • Utilize search engine analysis knowledge to maximize website traffic.
  • Build strategies for displays, social media, and web advertisements to enhance brand image.
  • Attend events, produce live social media content, and maintain a unified brand voice across different channels.
  • Monitor social media channels to stay informed about industry trends.
  • Provide analysis and reporting on metrics such as weekly/monthly sales, new product sell-through, and offer code performance.
  • Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.
  • Drive the sales performance of the e-commerce platform.
  • Build, manage, and train a team in Marketing & eCommerce, implementing digital marketing campaigns across various outlets.
  • Review and measure the performance of marketing campaigns, reporting and presenting results to the leadership team.
  • Provide insights on customer shopping trends, supporting assortment selection, and identifying assortment gaps.
  • Partner with product development and buying teams to estimate product demand.
  • Work closely with demand planning and warehousing teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photographic content.
  • Develop marketing plans and e-commerce strategies for products.
  • Organize promotional events, coordinating day-of deliveries and staffing.
  • Review current marketing campaigns for weaknesses and develop solutions within budget constraints.
  • Analyze website click-to-purchase conversion rates and promotion effectiveness.
  • Identify potential new markets and create plans to enter them.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Google applications.
  • E-commerce expertise.
  • Events coordination experience.
  • Web design skills.
  • Social media management.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS and coding.
  • WordPress and UI/UX knowledge.
  • Proven working experience in web programming.
  • Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS.
  • Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, [website], Javascript, or Ruby on Rails.
  • Solid understanding of web applications, including security, session management, and best development practices.
  • Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object-Oriented Programming, and web application development.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish.
  • Ability to travel to other retail locations.
  • 2-3 years of sales experience (required).
  • 2-5 years of retail sales experience (required).
  • 5 years of management experience.
  • Beauty Supply Industry experience is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday ( Weekend Availability)

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: $70,000.00
