The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Ensure that all PSI safety procedures, rules and regulations are followed and met.Read and follow work instructions, procedures and follow oral instructions to ascertain material handling tasks.Receive, move, handle, and issue material in storerooms and in production areas as necessary.All handling will be by hand or with material handling equipment.Count and record number of units of materials moved, received into or removed from the shipyard.Enter receipts of goods, issues, disbursements, etc. into computer system.Operate forklift truck and similar light material handling equipment as required.Communicate withpurchasing, productionand otherdepartmentsregarding deliveries, especially any associated problem.Receive material in storerooms and other stock locations as necessary.Inspection of material according to obvious damages, shortage, overage, and other obvious discrepancies.
