Chariton Valley Communications Corporation is looking for a full-time Network Support Analyst to join our team. Following our mission, Keeping You Connected, Chariton Valley Communications Corporation has provided state-of-the-art communication solutions to businesses and residents in Northeast Missouri for 70 years.
The Network Support Analyst is responsible for providing world-class tier-two support for network issues. This position requires someone with excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot with little or no guidance.
The Network Support Analyst must have or be able to obtain within 6 months, the following: an understanding of the Metaswitch; some understanding of Innovative flows and how they work together; understand in detail how Innovative processes orders; how to change, add or delete scripts in Innovative; and understand the infrastructure and how the Calix system works. The successful candidate must be able to make quick decisions, work well with others, possess excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude, have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as, be a self-starter, with the ability to work with little supervision. This individual must be proficient at operating a computer and able to interpret and summarize complex data. The working schedule will vary, including evenings and weekends, as needed, and include an on-call rotation. The Network Support Analyst should possess an associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical/vocational school; or one-year related experience and/or training.
