Job Description
The Personalized Learning Team Summer Intern plays a key role in supporting the development and enhancement of personalized learning programs for the upcoming school year. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in educational technology and data analysis. The position is a hybrid role with an expected start date of June 2, 2025, and offers flexibility with remote work options.
About the Team: Our team is dedicated to ensuring that students and educators have access to the right technology and resources. We manage over 50 programs, ensuring their effective use across grade levels, and focus on data-driven decision-making to improve the educational experience. As part of this team, you'll help shape the future of personalized learning by assisting in the analysis, training, and support of educational programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management (15%): Gain experience with Asana by managing tasks, tracking project goals, and collaborating on cross-functional projects. Create and track your summer projects and actively contribute to team initiatives.
Efficacy Analysis for Personalized Learning Programs (50%): Review and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of personalized learning programs. Design and execute efficacy analyses for the previous school year, creating accessible materials like infographics, one-pagers, and presentations to share findings with non-data stakeholders.
ROI Analysis (20%): Design and execute Return on Investment (ROI) analyses for learning programs. Create user-friendly visual materials to present results and insights to the team and stakeholders, and help develop processes to replicate these analyses in the future.
Back to School Support (15%): Assist with website data analysis, providing suggestions for site improvements, and work on updating rosters in various learning programs in collaboration with the team.
Other Tasks (As Needed): Contribute to additional data-related projects and assist the team with other necessary tasks.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
Current graduate student in data science, business analytics, information technology, or a related field.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong background in data analysis, project management, and experience with tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, Asana, and Slack.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced knowledge of data analysis, ROI analysis, and website data analysis.
Experience communicating data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in PowerPoint/Google Slides and experience creating infographics or one-pagers.

Compensation: The internship offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.50, with the opportunity to work up to 30 hours per week, allowing for a balanced work-life experience. The program follows the holiday calendar, with two unpaid holidays for Juneteenth and the 4th of July.
