Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals in Bellingham has partnered with a local company in Lynden to find a Public Records Clerk for filing support for their office. This is a temporary position, that starts as part-time but has the opportunity to become full-time following training.

Responsibilities & Qualifications Include:

• Build print and electronic file records for contracts and other official documents
• Assemble print file records in a physical filing location
• Scan print records, as needed, and assemble in electronic format
• Review public record act guidance for Washington State
• Sort stored records for retention, archiving, and destruction
• Set up consultation with WA Secretary of State WA State Archives Program for on‐site review
• Support transfer of applicable records to the WA State Archives
• Organize and file records for on‐site retention, as needed
• Organize and save documents on a cloud‐based record‐keeping system, as needed

Pay: Earn $22.50 per hour
