Job Title: Housekeeper
We are currently seeking a Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel. You will be servicing guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures, stocking cart with room supplies, and replacing bed linens and replenishing guest room supplies while following company standards and safety/security procedures. In some instances, this role would also be responsible for conducting ‘deep cleaning’ activities within the guest room in conjunction with preventative maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel
- Service guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures
- Stock cart with room supplies
- Replace bed linens and replenish guest room supplies
- Follow company standards and safety/security procedures
- Conduct ‘deep cleaning’ activities within the guest room in conjunction with preventative maintenance tasks
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
