Job Title: Systems Administrator ( Contract / C2H )

Location: On-site / Jacksonville, FL

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in managing cloud environments, networks, and on-premises systems with a focus on Azure and Office 365. You will also provide support for Active Directory, Meraki, Exchange, Teams, and other key IT services. This role involves troubleshooting, proactive maintenance, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Azure Management: Monitor and maintain cloud-based environments using Azure tools.
• Office 365 Administration: Manage and support Office 365 applications, including Exchange Online and Teams.
• Meraki Networks: Configure and maintain Cisco Meraki network devices.
• Active Directory Management: Perform user and group management, password resets, and Group Policy troubleshooting.
• Group Policy Reporting: Gather reports from workstations to aid in troubleshooting.
• Email Signatures (Xink): Manage organization-wide email signatures using Xink.
• File Services (DFS and File Shares): Maintain distributed file systems, file shares, and manage group permissions.
• Public Key Infrastructure (PKI): Request and manage certificates from the internal PKI.
• Endpoint Security (CrowdStrike): Manage and monitor CrowdStrike endpoint protection systems.
• Exchange Administration: Provide support for on-premises or hybrid Exchange environments.
• Teams Administration: Manage and troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft Teams.
• Backup & Recovery: Perform file/folder restores and manage Veritas email archive.
• Identity Management (Okta): Create apps, synchronize directories, and assign groups in Okta.
• Technical Analysis: Analyze IT issues to identify the scope and provide troubleshooting for single or multi-user problems.
• Basic Networking: Use networking tools like NSLookup, Ping, and IPConfig for diagnostics.
• Intune & SCCM: Manage device provisioning, Windows 11 imaging, and software distribution through Intune and SCCM.
• Software Distribution & Self-Service: Administer and support software distribution and self-service systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• 3+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role.

Technical Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in Azure and Office 365 administration.
• Experience with Active Directory , Group Policy , and DFS/File Shares .
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki .
• Familiarity with CrowdStrike for endpoint security.
• Strong knowledge of Exchange and Teams Administration .
• Working knowledge of Okta for identity management.
• Experience with Intune , SCCM , and Windows 11 imaging.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
• Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist
• CompTIA Security+
• Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
• Okta Certified Professional

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move computer equipment (up to 100 lbs) as needed.

Work Status:
Contract/Contract to Hire (40 hours/week); Core hours: 8 am – 5 pm M-F
