Job Description: Job Description Our client, a busy and well established estate planning law firm in Southwest Minneapolis, is searching for a full-time estate planning attorney to join our dynamic team. Impactful Work: Help clients create wills and trusts to secure their family's future while delivering exceptional client service.Responsibilities Perform a wide variety of functions to support the firm including (but not limited to):Create wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, etc. for your clientsDiscuss plans with clients for distributing their assetsAdvocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation, and forming a strategy for a plan of actionCultivate relationships with the firm's existing and future clients by maintaining consistent and timely communicationQualificationsJuris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, requiredMust have an active MN law licenseMinimum of 2-5 years of estate planning experienceExperience with dispute resolution, probate, elder law, MA benefits, special needs planning, or litigation a plusHighly proactive approach to professional work and relationshipsOrganized and detail-orientedStrong emotional intelligence and excellent interpersonal skillsMotivation to grow professionally, financially, and personallyNo portables or existing book necessaryCompensation$100,000 base salary + bonuses All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
