About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Booking and Special Events. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic development and execution of large-scale, non-soccer revenue events, including concerts, corporate functions, and other significant gatherings. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team to meet annual sales and event revenue goals, as well as spearheading the procurement and negotiation of special events. This involves high-level negotiation, business development, and collaboration with internal departments to ensure seamless event execution and brand alignment. The VP will also be tasked with overseeing the operational budget for event sales, hiring and training staff, and ensuring that the organization's goal of creating a first-class environment for clients and guests is met. Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should have a BS/BA degree in marketing or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years experience in event booking and sales, preferably within the sports, entertainment, or venue management industry.
