*NO FEE AGENCY * The Shipping Supervisor reports to the Warehouse Operations Manager and directs all aspects of the Shipping Department. They are responsible for accurate picking/selecting procedures, packaging, palletizing, BOLs, shipping labels, and pick up scheduling with regards to the forecasted priority shipping lists. Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes Duties/Responsibilities: Supervises the daily shipment fulfillments of all customer orders in the forecasted priority shipping list. Stays in direct lateral communication with corresponding company departments to ensure the integrity of outbound freight . Supervises and enters data to company share drive shipping lists regarding outbound freight daily. Actively contributes to lean initiatives to increase productivity and reduce cost. Supervises and monitors order selectors and shippers to ensure productivity levels are met for the day. Able to download and configure a variety of initial applications and system settings. Supervises and monitors work in accordance with company's production specification and established work procedures. Provides weekly progress reports to Warehouse Operations Manager in regard to the productivity of the department. Supervises and maintains a clean and safe work area in a safety focused environment. Supervises and monitors the training of the Shipping department team. Required Skills/Abilities: MS Office suite familiarity Windows OS familiarity Knowledge of products/material shipping lead times. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must comply with safety regulations. Must be able to read, interpret, understand and follow blueprints, schematics, diagrams, specifications and bills of materials. Must have a positive attitude and excellent attendance. Education and Experience: High School or Equivalent required. Shipping experience required. Experience in Supervisory and leadership roles preferred. Warehouse equipment safety experience preferred. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems preferred.
